We’re a newly established brewing company taking our place among Alberta’s great craft brewers. In Greek mythology, Atlas was a titan condemned to hold up the celestial heavens for eternity. As a symbol of strength and endurance, Atlas represents two of the quintessential qualities of a brewer.
Why Beer
Beer is one of the oldest and most consumed beverages in the world. In modern times, beer brewing has been transformed by the ability to brew beer in smaller batches and in greater varieties, by tweaking some of the basic ingredients in the beer making process. Combined with our brewmaster’s talents, this allows us to create unique products while maintaining the traditional qualities of a good beer (namely taste, bitterness, aroma, mouth feel) and ensuring consistent quality.

Michael Phipps
COO & Master Brewer
Mike has been home brewing for the past thirty years. He started out with the old Coopers Cans and plastic buckets and then moved into wort kits, wort kits with mini-mash and then finally all-grain. His other hobbies include lego building and playing computer games.
